Marvell
MARVELL is a six-piece Australiana, indie rock band hailing from Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Fusing a unique blend of folk-inspired storytelling, rock and roll energy, huge vocals, and an even bigger rhythm section, MARVELL is headed by brothers Tom and Max Marvell, and has been captivating audiences throughout the country’s live music scene.
MARVELL's music draws on stories of the average life growing up in Sydney, exploring themes of love, loss, mental health, and the search for meaning in a rapidly changing world, all while showcasing the stunning natural beauty of their homeland. They have an impressive, combined total of 2.5M+ streams on their independently released songs, and 20,000+ monthly listeners on Spotify.
With influences ranging from classic rock icons such as Oasis and The Eagles to contemporary indie bands like Gang of Youths, Boy & Bear and Sam Fender, MARVELL's sound is both nostalgic and fresh, offering a unique take on the Australian rock genre.
In mid 2024, MARVELL is set to release their highly anticipated debut album, "Good Thanks". Produced by acclaimed Australian producer Jan Skubiszewski (John Butler Trio, Dan Sultan, Delta Goodrem), and mixed by multiple ARIA award winner David Hemming (Icehouse, The Saints, The Screaming Jets), the album will feature 12 tracks showcasing the band's signature sound and storytelling prowess.
From the catchy, upbeat track "Pieces" to the hauntingly beautiful ballad "Stay With Me", "Good Thanks" is a diverse and engaging collection of songs that will have fans laughing, lusting, dancing, and crying, maybe all at once.
With their debut album set to make waves in the Australian music scene, Marvell is poised to become one of the country's most exciting Aussie rock bands. With a debut album just as electrifying as their live set this could be the catalyst to propel MARVELL into the mainstream - exactly where they belong.
