Residing in Northern NSW, Ben Purnell has been a working musician for 10+ years. In this time he has performed lead vocals in bands CHXSM and Due Wave, performed as solo acoustic duos and trios, and currently plays bass and lead vocals in 3 piece rock band Tubed Radio. 2025 is an exciting time as Tubed Radio are ready to release their debut EP in early February.

Adding to this, Ben will also be dropping his second release under his own name in late Autumn. Springing forward from his first release ‘From the Sun’ this new project is set to have acoustic foundations. Focussing more on the sounds of his acoustic shows, genres of rock, blues and folk will prevail in this next release.

Ben continues to write and jam music inspired by changing times and life lessons. He enjoys surfing and fishing along the coastline, always making the most of the conditions while finding inspiration.
